Spring 2016 Internship Q&A Panel

"Is an internship worth my time? Are they paid? Do I have to be a Political Science major? Do I have to hear more about Donald Trump?"

Come get all these questions and more answered at our Spring 2016 Internship Q&A Panel. The event will be on Tuesday, January 26th at 3:30 pm in Library Room 154.

The panelists at this event are:

  - Janet Anderson

Janet is the USU Vice Provost, and a former co-director of the IOGP.

- Ryan Wilcox

Ryan works as a policy advisor in Senator Mike Lee’s office.

- Michael Wheat

Michael is a former government relations intern at VMware in D.C.

If you are considering doing a political internship, this is a great place to start. Our panelists are here to answer your questions about what life is like as an intern in Washington D.C., what your role would be, why it’s beneficial for you and how to get involved.

The deadline for Summer 2016 internship applications is February 1st, and the early deadline for Fall 2016 applications is March 1st!

Pizza will be provided at the event.

  1. This is one of the most astonishing venues that I've attended for my numerous experiences. This place is spot on with the decorations. The overall experience at LA event venues was amazing! Had a fun and comfortable time here.
